Day of memory for the victims of the mafia.
Vistit to Orta Caste and Workshop about property seized from the mafia
Every March 21, the first day of spring, we celebrate the Memorial Day and the Commemoration in memory of the innocent victims of the mafia, because on that day of awakening of nature, the spring of truth and social justice is renewed. From 1996, every year in a different city, a list of around 100 names of innocent victims is read. There are widows, children without fathers, mothers and siblings. There are the relatives of the known victims, those whose name immediately invokes a strong emotion. And there are the family members of the victims whose name says little or nothing. For this reason it is a civil duty to remember them all. To always remind us that to those names and their families we must be the dignity of Italy as a whole.
